... Read moreAs a longtime K-pop fan, I’ve found that stanning idols from various groups adds an exciting layer to following the industry. My favorites span both girl and boy groups, mixing established acts like BTS and TWICE with newer talents such as boynextdoor and &team. Each group brings their own unique energy and music style, making it fun to explore different concepts and sounds. Biases play a big role in my fandom experience. For instance, Jihyo and Momo from TWICE captivate me with their strong vocals and stage presence, while from BTS, Jin and Suga stand out due to their storytelling in lyrics and charisma. Exploring members like winter and ningning from aespa or Yeosang and Yunho in Ateez introduced me to fresh styles and performances that reinvigorated my love for K-pop. I also enjoy watching the growth of 4th and 5th gen groups such as Enhypen, TXT, and boynextdoor. Seeing members like Beomgyu and Taehyun from TXT develop their skills over time makes following their careers deeply rewarding. Listening closely to each member’s strengths, whether it’s a vocal riff, rap line, or dance moves, helps me appreciate the versatility K-pop offers. This personal bias list isn’t just about picking favorites; it’s about connecting with their stories, achievements, and hard work. Being part of the K-pop community means constantly discovering new idols and respecting the artistry behind their craft. Sharing these biases often sparks conversations and recommendations among fans, further enriching the enjoyment. Overall, following a broad spectrum of groups and biases keeps my appreciation for K-pop vibrant and ever-evolving.
