Growing my 4C hair
Welcome to my hair journey…
So last year I called myself “dying my hair”. I colored it what was supposed to be burgundy, and it came out pink. Now here’s where it gets interesting….a couple days later I followed up with a bleaching. Double whammie. Took it from hot pink to neon gold. 😭😭 shhhhh. 🤫We listen and we don’t judge.
My hair fell out in clumps. No seriously. Swipe to see. All of the colored parts snapped right out of my head. From there I was on a mission to restore it, and grow it healthier and longer than it was before.
I use mostly natural products besides my shampoo and conditioner. I created a customized routine and custom hair oils to nourish my hair. I cook flax seeds to make hair gel.
A year later my hair is longer than it ever was. I never really knew how to care for it and now I feel as though I’m a magician. 4C hair is deemed as a “slow growing” texture. Which is not the case. My progress is proof. It is possible!
