It’s lip balm season✨

When I started making lip balms, I chose eco-friendly jars. While I love these, I know they’re not always convenient. Our beeswax balm is soft and smooth, and belongs in a jar (but they come with a cute little spatula🥹). Our Natural balm is hard, and not really suited for the jars so she’s getting a makeover✨ I have a couple jars left to sell, and then it will only be tubes (with a color-coded lid).

We do have a beeswax tube; but they come in a set of 2, and are the recipe I adapted from my jars into tubes for another small business.

There’s also a Grapefruit balm, which has essential oil instead of flavor, used at lip-safe levels. Grapefruit is thought to help curb cravings of sweets, though that’s likely very person-to-person.

I also made the best duo you could ask for- a lip balm and scrub set, in pink lemonade flavor💕 You won’t regret these!

If you’re sitting here reading this like ‘but I can get something cheaper at xyz store because I’m just going to lose it’, well, sure you *could* do that. Or you could buy a #handmade balm and a lip balm holder to keep your tube safe and sound until it’s gone. The choice is yours really💕

... Read moreI totally get it! We've all been there, wondering if a 'natural balm' is really worth the extra thought, especially when you can grab something cheap off the shelf. But let me tell you, once you dive into the world of truly natural lip care, there's no going back! For me, crafting these balms isn't just about making a product; it's about providing genuine nourishment for your lips, free from the synthetic fillers you often find in mass-produced options. So, what makes a natural balm, like my own 'Natural balm,' stand out? It's all about the ingredients and how they work with your body. Instead of petroleum-based ingredients that just sit on top of your lips, natural balms use ingredients like pure beeswax, plant oils, and essential oils that deeply hydrate and help heal. You might notice my 'Natural balm' has a firmer texture – that’s because it’s packed with potent, long-lasting ingredients designed to truly protect and moisturize, not just temporarily coat. This firm consistency is actually one of its strengths, making it perfect for a long-lasting, non-greasy feel, and it's precisely why it's getting a 'makeover' to fit perfectly into those convenient tubes! When you see phrases like 'Beeswax Lip Balm Toasted Sugar' or 'Grapefruit balm,' you know you're looking at products where the core ingredients are chosen for their natural benefits. The Grapefruit balm, for example, uses lip-safe essential oils, offering a subtle scent and potential aromatic benefits without artificial flavors. My beeswax balms, whether in those lovely jars or the new tubes, are designed to be soft and smooth, melting effortlessly into your lips. And yes, those eco-friendly jars, often seen with a cute little spatula, are still a favorite for a reason! Beyond just the ingredients, there’s a whole experience when you choose handmade. Each 'Natural Lip Balm' with its unique formulation, or the fun 'Pink Lemonade Lip Balm' and scrub set, is made with care and attention that you just don't get from factory lines. It’s about creating something special, like the 'Beeswax Lip Balm Superfruit Slushie,' that not only feels good but also aligns with a more conscious lifestyle. And for those who worry about losing their precious balms – a common dilemma, I know! – have you considered a lip balm holder? I've seen some absolutely adorable crocheted ones that keep your tube safe and sound, making sure your investment in quality lip care stays with you until the very last swipe. It's a small change that makes a big difference! Ultimately, choosing a natural balm means opting for better ingredients, supporting a small business, and indulging in a little self-care ritual that truly benefits your lips. It's an investment in quality, and once you try it, you'll understand why it's worth every bit.
