Plantherapy in Mari's Garden
A month ago (before 2 storms hit Hawaii) we went to Mari's Garden in Mililani. It is tucked away behind homes, I would have never thought a place like this could exist!
The place was huge! we didn't get to finish, so I'm looking to return there for part 2.
Visiting Mari's Garden in Mililani was truly an unexpected delight. What struck me the most was how such a large and diverse garden could be concealed behind residential homes, making it a perfect secret escape for plant enthusiasts. The extensive variety of plants, ranging from vibrant tropical species to charming indoor plants, offers something for everyone. I found the atmosphere incredibly peaceful, a great contrast to the bustling city life around it. One thing I learned from my visit is that Mari's Garden provides a great opportunity for both seasoned gardeners and beginners to discover plants that thrive in Hawaii's unique climate. The garden is also an inspiring place for indoor plant lovers looking to bring a bit of nature inside their homes—many plants here would make excellent indoor companions due to their adaptability and beauty. Because I didn't get to explore the entire garden, returning for a second visit is a must to fully appreciate the variety and beauty it has to offer. For anyone planning a visit, I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a camera to capture the lush greenery. Whether you're looking to find plant inspiration, enjoy a peaceful walk, or simply connect with nature, Mari's Garden is a hidden gem worth exploring in Mililani.
