DIML home from college ✨
Hi everyone! I just spent a week home from college for thanksgiving break and this is what a typical day looked like for me! I always wake up, drink coffee and do a quick workout before I go anywhere. I then got ready and went to Barnes and nobles to pick up a new book for me to read! I ended up getting the twisted love series. I then got some work done, went to matcha with a friend, and passed by my boyfriend’s sisters house to hangout with his nephew. I ended the day watching a movie with my dad!! It feels so good to be home 💝💝 #lemon8partner #lemon8college #DIML #college #home
Spending a break at home from college can be such a refreshing reset, allowing you to recharge your mind and reconnect with loved ones. Starting your day with a cup of coffee and a quick workout is a fantastic routine to boost energy and set a positive tone. This small self-care habit helps not only physically but also mentally as you transition from academic demands to a more relaxed pace. Visiting Barnes and Noble to pick up a new book like the Twisted Love series is a perfect way to unwind and indulge in some immersive reading. Books can offer both entertainment and inspiration, making them a great companion during any break. Meeting friends for a matcha run adds a social and healthy element to the day. Matcha contains antioxidants and has been known to improve focus and calmness, which complements your productive work sessions when you get back home. Whether it’s catching up on assignments or personal projects, having a structured period of work keeps you on track while maintaining balance. Spending time with family members, such as hanging out with a boyfriend's nephew or enjoying a movie night with your dad, brings warmth and strengthens family bonds. These experiences are invaluable in reminding you of your roots and building lasting memories. Overall, blending routines like coffee, workouts, reading, work, social meetups, and family time can make your time home from college feel meaningful and reenergizing. It’s important to create a flexible schedule that supports both productivity and relaxation, especially during short breaks.
