“that girl” hobbies ✨
I find myself being asked a lot about my hobbies lately, and sometimes it can be hard to answer. it's easy for us to make time for people that we love, but sometimes we forget to make time for things that we enjoy doing. since being asked this question and finding myself stumbling to answer, I now make an effort to implement things that I love doing into each week! it can be hard to find your niche, so here's some ideas 🤍
📖 reading: this one's easy for me because once I start a good book, I CANNOT put it down. I truly believe that people who dislike reading, may not have found their genre yet. you don't have to be reading anything that will teach you new things or make you smarter, its okay to read solely for entertainment! if you're a rom com lover, try romance novels. if you love sports, read a biography about your favorite athlete. if you loved Harry Potter, try out other fantasy books. true crime? try a murder mystery. the list goes on, but there are books for everyone!
🍁 hot girl walks: I've been talking about these a lot lately because I'm OBSESSED. its great to get outside and move your body. use this time to reflect or listen to your favorite album or podcast. I always feel rejuvenated after a long walk.
🎾 pickleball: this is the hottest new hobby, but everyone loves it for a reason. its so fun to play with your friends (you can do 2v2 or 1v1) its a great way to stay active but you can control how intense you want it to be. if you're more so looking for a fun thing to do with friends, you can take it easy and still be able to chat a bit throughout.
👩🍳 baking: perfect for a night in, especially as the weather cools down. there's nothing better than bringing a delicious homemade dessert to a friend's house warming party. its a great conversation starter and way to trade new recipes!

Finding hobbies that truly light you up can be a game-changer for your well-being. I used to feel overwhelmed, struggling to carve out 'me time' amidst a busy schedule. But I've learned that intentionally pursuing activities I love makes all the difference. If you're searching for fun, aesthetic, and fulfilling hobbies for girls, you're in the right place! It's all about discovering what sparks joy and helps you feel like your best, 'that girl' self. Beyond just entertainment, reading has been incredible for expanding my perspective. If you're struggling to start, try audiobooks during your commute or pick a genre completely outside your comfort zone – sometimes a thrilling mystery or a heartwarming romance is all it takes to get hooked. Don't feel pressured to read classics; read what you genuinely enjoy! I've found that even just 15-20 minutes a day can transform my mood and reduce screen time. My hot girl walks have become non-negotiable! It's more than just exercise; it's a moving meditation. To make yours more 'that girl' coded, create a curated playlist, explore a new park, or use the time to call a friend or reflect on your day. I love seeing the vibrant autumn leaves during my walks; it makes the experience even more refreshing. It's truly one of the best habits for mental clarity and physical energy. Pickleball is such a blast and a fantastic way to combine activity with socializing. Don't be intimidated if you've never played! Most communities have beginner-friendly courts or groups. Grab a friend, rent some paddles, and just have fun. It’s surprisingly easy to pick up, and you’ll get a great workout without it feeling like a chore. It’s definitely a cool hobby that gets you moving and laughing. Baking is my go-to for a cozy night in. There's something so therapeutic about creating something delicious from scratch. If you're new to baking, start with simple recipes like cookies or brownies. The joy of sharing your homemade treats with loved ones is unmatched, and it's a wonderful way to express creativity and unwind. Plus, who doesn't love the smell of fresh-baked goods? Another hobby I've recently embraced is journaling. It’s a wonderful aesthetic hobby for girls who love to reflect and express themselves. You don't need to be a professional writer; simply jotting down your thoughts, feelings, or daily gratitude can be incredibly cathartic. Grab a pretty notebook and a nice pen, and just let your thoughts flow. It’s a quiet, introspective way to connect with yourself. For those who love to create with their hands, exploring DIY crafts or painting can be incredibly rewarding. Think about making handmade cards, simple jewelry, or trying out watercolor painting. It’s a fantastic way to tap into your artistic side, produce something unique, and it’s a perfect chill activity for an evening or a weekend afternoon. There are so many beginner-friendly kits available that make starting easy and fun. Ultimately, the best hobbies for girls are those that bring you genuine happiness and a sense of accomplishment. Don't be afraid to try new things and let go of what doesn't resonate. Whether it’s an active pursuit or a quiet, creative one, making space for your passions is a powerful form of self-care. Start small, be consistent, and watch how these intentional moments transform your life. You deserve to feel good and pursue what you love!
