Book of Mormon Blackout Poetry

Welcome to my #exmormon Lemon8 page!

I'm going to start off by introducing a new project I've started, and that is to blackout my entire Book of Mormon, and reclaim it as my own.

Blackout Poetry is a form of poetry that takes the works of others in their forms of books, notes, newspapers, ephemera, etc. and blacking out anything you're not going to use in your poem to create your own work of art.

I invite you on my journey of self-discovery, to bring peace to our minds and our hearts outside of the #mormon #cult

Blackout Poetry is therapeutic

The first time I heard of blackout powtry was in a middle school English class and at the time I probably thought it was about the stupidest thing ever. BUT! Since revisiting the project senior year of highschool I have been occasionally making blackout poetry as I find it calming/therapeutic.
