Hosting Friendsgiving
My charcuterie board was a mix of Trader Joe’s and Sam’s club. It was extremely easy and way cheaper than expected.
Cheese 🧀 I spent about $20
Meats 🥓 $15
Fruits 🍓 $10 (I purchased a prepped fruit tryna from Sam’s Club)
Crackers/Nuts/Chocolate Pretzels 🥨 $15
Chicken 🍗 $10 (Premade Sam’s rotisserie chicken)
The total for all of the food was about $70. Of course you could do this cheaper. But i felt like this was a great deal considering I did not have the prep much. All of the items were a hit and my friends loved the charcuterie board.
Friendsgiving is an opportunity to gather with loved ones and share gratitude over a festive meal. Planning a successful Friendsgiving can be easy and economical, especially with a charcuterie board. Charcuterie boards allow for creativity and customization, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. Using affordable grocers like Trader Joe's and Sam's Club makes it convenient to find exquisite cheeses, meats, and fresh fruits at wallet-friendly prices. Begin by selecting a variety of cheeses—soft, hard, or aged—to create a balance of flavors. Meats such as salami or prosciutto can enhance your board significantly without overspending. Fresh fruits like berries and grapes bring color and freshness while also sweetening the palate. Don't forget to add artisanal crackers and maybe a few chocolate-covered pretzels for extra flair! For those short on time, pre-prepped items like rotisserie chicken from Sam's Club can be a game changer, providing tasty protein with minimal preparation required. A well-planned charcuterie board not only represents great value but also showcases your thoughtful host skills, making every guest feel special at your Friendsgiving celebration.
