Doing your best is enough. Kids will always remember the time spent together, they will not remember the tennis shoes or the latest game. My memories are of times spent with my parents. They are gone, but when I think of them,, the memories soothe me. I don't think of toys or shoes.

OMG! It’s hurting you but not them. I don’t look back and think about what I didn’t have. I think about the mom who was always there; always with me; that I could tell anything to. And I saw her struggle and I learned to appreciate things instead of being a spoiled brat because things were handed to me. Teach your children about God and choosing friends and a spouse that raise them up instead of tearing them down. Those are things that money can never buy.
