THEN vs NOW
i think throughout the years i’ve become more confident in posting. the transition from senior year of high school to being a senior in college is … something. i wish i had some many things differently but i’ve learned a lot from my experiences.
i always always self conscious when i was younger so i wouldn’t really take pictures. but now it’s “it’s my profile. why not? WHO CARES” i want to be able to go back and look at pictures and reminisce.
let’s be instagram besties 🫶🏽

As we navigate through various life stages, our perspectives and confidence often evolve. The transition from high school to college is particularly significant, filled with new experiences and challenges. Many individuals struggle with self-image during their formative years, often shying away from capturing memories through photos. However, embracing one's authentic self is crucial. Today, social media platforms like Instagram allow us to curate our personal narratives and share the journey openly. It is about capturing moments that tell our story, whether it's the awkward phases of high school, your first college party, or meaningful relationships that shape who we are. During this time, connections with peers become vital, influencing our confidence and self-acceptance. Engaging with friends on Instagram can foster a sense of belonging, proving that we are not alone in our vulnerabilities. The experiences of your senior year, whether high school or college, can be quite different yet equally impactful. Celebrate those milestones with genuine expressions of who you are. Remember, it’s your profile to share, so own it! Lastly, it’s essential to look back and appreciate these moments to reminisce about how far we’ve come. Let’s uplift one another, share our stories, and build a supportive community on platforms like Lemon8 and Instagram!
