Building something that fits my life, not consumes it.

I’ve tried different side hustles before.

Always hoping, maybe this is the one.

Some didn’t last.

Some didn’t feel right.

Some just didn’t fit into my life the way I needed them to.

And honestly, it can get frustrating.

Starting, stopping, questioning if it’s even worth it.

But looking back now, I realise it was never wasted time.

Every attempt taught me something.

What I don’t want. What doesn’t work for me.

And most importantly, what kind of life I’m actually trying to build.

I wasn’t just looking for “any” side hustle.

I was looking for something that fits into my reality, my time, my responsibilities, my priorities.

Something flexible.

Something sustainable.

Something that grows with me, not drains me.

And when I finally found something that aligned,

it felt different.

Not easier.

But clearer.

Because this time, I’m not just trying something.

I’m building something.

... Read moreStarting a side hustle can be a rewarding yet challenging experience, especially when you’re trying to find one that truly fits your life rather than consumes it. From personal experience, the key is to prioritize flexibility and sustainability to prevent burnout. Many people jump into various side hustles hoping for quick success, but without aligning them with their own reality—such as work schedules, family commitments, and personal energy levels—these efforts often fall flat. I found that each venture, even those that didn’t last, contributed to a clearer understanding of what I wanted and didn’t want in a side hustle. One important lesson is to treat your side hustle as a part of your life, not an additional, overwhelming burden. This means setting realistic goals, managing time wisely, and selecting projects that can evolve as your circumstances change. For example, home-based opportunities or digital freelancing can offer the flexibility needed for working parents or busy professionals. Building something sustainable involves seeing the hustle as a long-term investment. Instead of chasing trends, focus on skills and passions that bring personal fulfillment and can steadily grow. It’s normal for the path to feel unclear at times, but consistency and clarity about your priorities lead to meaningful progress. In my journey, embracing this mindset transformed the process from frustrating starts and stops into a purposeful build that complements my life. I encourage others feeling overwhelmed by side hustles to reflect on how their efforts align with their lifestyle, and to prioritize ventures that empower rather than drain them. After all, the goal is to construct something that supports your life goals, not takes them over.

everything you consume, consumes you ✨back✨
We are not passive observers of our reality. Like it or not, we play a part in something, however small, in our small realities. If we do something, the ripple effects will take the outcome to be something. If we don’t do something, the outcome might be vastly different too. Likewise, in our mo

Some things only a working mom can understand.
No one really prepares us for how tough this part feels. You spend every single day with your little one… then one day, you have to let go a little and step back into work. 💔 Only moms truly understand that tug-of-war in our hearts. Yes, I may be back at work… but I’m also 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫
