Hi everyone, since my initial 'hello' was a little brief, I wanted to properly introduce myself and share a bit more about what you can expect here! I'm Chrissy, and my biggest passion is the world of *The Phantom of the Opera*. For over a decade, I've been immersed in its magic, not just as a fan, but as a dedicated historian and archivist. This means I spend my time uncovering fascinating facts, tracking down rare news, and diving deep into the rich history of every iteration of *Phantom*, from Broadway to the West End and beyond. I absolutely love sharing these discoveries, whether it's a forgotten detail about the original production or a look behind the scenes of a current revival. My goal is to create a space where fellow 'phans' and newcomers alike can explore the incredible legacy of this musical masterpiece. Beyond the theatre, my life is filled with music and a lot of purrs! I actually have a music degree myself and have spent years performing opera, which only deepened my appreciation for the vocal artistry in *Phantom*. When I'm not researching or listening to show tunes, you'll find me at home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my wonderful fiancé, Amber. We share our lives with three very special furry friends who often steal the show: Melody, Luna, and Cirice. If you’ve seen any of my posts, you’ve probably spotted these little rascals! Luna and Cirice, in particular, are the best companions, always ready to 'supervise' my research or snuggle up during a late-night writing session. They each have such unique personalities, and I'm sure you'll get to know them well through my stories and pictures. Many of you have been curious about them, and I promise to share more of their antics and sweet moments. I'm thrilled to be building this community on Lemon8, and I invite you all to follow along.
