1. THE MENENDEZ BROTHERS, 2024

🎬Review: Solid documentary. It could have been a little less one sicded. I understand from another
documentary that there's some incriminating evidence than if it were purelself-defense (such as a recorded telephone conversation between Lyle and a friend).
We can't know for sure what happened behind closed dodors in the Menendez family, I'm inclined to believe them.
In any case, what the documentary certainly achieves isthat you will find the brothers more sympathetic than the first prosecutor (Pamela Bozanich), even if thhey were cold blooded killers.
Her behavior and attitude will infuriate you. She comes across as a typicaarcissist. But perhaps because of her defensive behavior and certain things she says, you gethe impression that somewhere she knows that she might have been wrong
Her latest comments are ridiculous ("The only reason we're doing this specal is because of the TikTok movement to free the Menendi' and "If that's how we're gonna try cawhy don't we just, like, have a poll? You present the faces, everyone gets to votee on TikTok, and then we decide who gets to go home"). What is wrong with her to make ssuch statements??
Finally, she threatens Tik Tok people who have a different opinion than heelf by saying that she is heavily armed. Sounds like an aggressive toddler.
I just had to get this off my chest. Thank you.
2. WHAT JENNIFER DID, 2024

🎬Review: If you ask me, I think JCS did much better in composing this caseand presenting it through the lense of criminal psychology
It highlights the most important aspects of the case - allcondensed into what Jennifer really thought the solution was. Also, with the bonus of not inclluding the dramatic music in the background that Netflix features in every single crime doco
I honestly thought watching the case again, this time around on Netflix, I might learn something more. However, after seeing it, Netflix doesn't measure up the slightest to what JCS presented.

3. GIRL IN THE PICTURE, 2022
⭐️Rate: 8/10
🎬Review: A young woman dies in an Oklahoma City from the injuriees she has received in a hit and run. The doctors and police suspect foul play, but it isn't until theydon't find out that she isn't who she says she is that the mystery begins to unfold. Slowly, but surely, the horf her life unfolds
This is one of the best, and most well constructed, docurmentaries, I have ever seen. The director tells the story in the chronology that the police and the FlBl a discover it. The result is the stomach churning story of sociopath and the damage he has done.
See it because his deserve to have their stories told, but, beware, that is disturbing
