Playland Arcade might not be the sleekest spot on the Santa Monica Pier, but somehow, that rough-around-the-edges vibe adds to its character. I wouldn’t call Playland a “destination arcade,” but if you’re already at the pier and you want a break from the usual beachside activities, it’s worth wandering in.
