what i wanted (professional)
so I had my blonde hair and my nails done in 2020 (naturally im a brunete) but it was right after I had a baby and it made me feel really good so now here I am recreating the moment. my hair is blonde. I bought a powder acrylic nail set. and here we are. only I made it better because the nail polish im using now is l.e.d. visible. of course its pink but under certain lights its glow in the dark ✨️ 😌
Recreating personal style moments can be incredibly empowering, especially after major life events like having a baby. I found that changing my hair color to blonde—a stark contrast to my natural brunette—helped boost my confidence and gave me a refreshing new look. Pairing that with powder acrylic nails that I applied myself added to the feeling of self-care and accomplishment. What’s fascinating about using a DIY powder acrylic nail set is how versatile and customizable it is. I particularly appreciate the l.e.d. visible polish I chose this time around. It’s pink under normal lighting but glows beautifully under LED lights, adding a fun and modern twist to traditional nail care. This glow-in-the-dark effect makes the nails stand out at night or in special lighting, turning a simple manicure into a personal statement. For those considering trying this at home, I recommend investing in a good quality powder acrylic kit and LED nail polish, as they really enhance the durability and aesthetic of the nails. Taking the time to do your nails yourself not only saves money but can also be therapeutic and rewarding. Plus, experimenting with colors and finishes like glow-in-the-dark polish can make the process exciting and creative. Overall, this experience has reminded me how small changes in appearance can have a big impact on mood and self-expression. Whether it’s after significant life moments or simply feeling the need for a fresh start, recreating and improving beauty routines at home is a great way to nurture yourself and have fun in the process.
