While we can change the default browser and mail app, imagine being able to choose your default maps app, or even a different camera app for when you quickly launch it from the Lock Screen. I have certain apps I prefer for specific functions, and it would greatly streamline my workflow if I didn't have to constantly navigate around Apple's defaults. It's a small change, but one that would make a huge difference in my daily user experience. The new Lock Screen customization is fantastic, but I wish Apple would push the envelope further with interactive widgets. Imagine tapping a widget to toggle a smart home device without unlocking, or interacting with a music player widget directly on the Lock Screen beyond just play/pause. If we could have truly dynamic, interactive widgets that feel more like mini-apps rather than just information displays, that would truly be next level. It would make my iPhone feel even more like a personalized extension of myself. These are just a few of the things I often wish Apple would update or change for the iPhone.
