Incense burner waterfall ☺️

I really believe that if something is meant for you, it'll find its way back. I saw this incense waterfall at Goodwill a few weeks ago but didn't know what it was until later. I regretted not picking it up... and then yesterday, I found another one at a different thrift store—for 25 cents. And it's just as satisfying as I hoped.

... Read moreHey everyone! So, my recent thrift store score of that incredible backflow incense waterfall burner got me thinking – maybe some of you are curious about these mesmerizing pieces too! I know I was completely new to them before my discovery, and now I'm hooked. If you've ever seen those videos of smoke gently cascading downwards like a misty waterfall, then you've seen a backflow incense burner in action. They're truly captivating and add such a unique, calming vibe to any space. So, what exactly makes a 'backflow' burner different from a regular one? It's all about the special backflow incense cones! Unlike traditional cones where smoke rises, these cones have a hollow tunnel inside. When lit, the cooler, denser smoke is drawn downwards through the tunnel and out of a small hole at the bottom. The burner itself is designed with channels and tiers for the smoke to flow gracefully, creating that beautiful waterfall effect. It's pure magic to watch, and honestly, it's incredibly satisfying, just like I mentioned in my post! If you've just picked one up, or are thinking about getting one, here’s a quick guide on how to get started and use your waterfall backflow incense burner: Preparation is Key: First, make sure your burner is on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. These burners can get warm, and you want to protect your furniture. Choose Your Cone: Grab one of your backflow incense cones. You'll notice it has a small hole at the bottom. Light It Up: Hold the tip of the cone with tweezers or your fingers and light the very top pointed end. Let it burn for about 10-15 seconds until there's a small flame. Extinguish the Flame: Gently blow out the flame. You should see a steady stream of smoke coming from the tip of the cone. Place it Right: Carefully place the cone onto the designated spot on your backflow burner, ensuring the hole at the bottom of the cone aligns with the hole or channel on the burner. Enjoy the Show: Within moments, you'll see the smoke start to flow downwards, creating that enchanting waterfall effect. It's truly mesmerizing! Now, let's talk about finding the 'best backflow incense cones.' This really comes down to personal preference, but here are a few tips I've picked up: Scent Quality: Look for cones made with natural ingredients for a cleaner burn and more authentic fragrance. Some cheaper cones can have a chemical smell. I've found that good quality cones can really enhance the calming atmosphere. Smoke Density & Duration: The quality of the cone affects how thick and consistent the smoke waterfall will be, and how long it lasts. Some brands, often found on Amazon.com, offer a good balance. I saw some listings for "100PCS CONES" which is a great value if you find a brand you like! Variety: Don't be afraid to experiment with different scents – from sandalwood and lavender to frankincense and jasmine. Each brings a unique vibe! And where can you find these beauties? While I got lucky and thrifted mine (for 25 cents, can you believe it?!), you can easily find 'waterfall incense burners' and cones online. I've seen a huge variety on Amazon.com, eBay, and even unique, handcrafted 'ceramic backflow' burners on Etsy. Just search for 'backflow incense waterfall burner' or 'backflow incense cones' and you'll be amazed by the selection. I even saw listings like "7in Double Sided Waterfall Cone" which sounds super cool! Remember, these burners are not just decorative; they can be a wonderful tool for relaxation, meditation, or simply adding a serene ambiance to your home. Just make sure to clean your burner regularly, as the residue from the smoke can build up. A little warm soapy water usually does the trick. Happy burning!

I saw another tiktoker create these cute little ghost guys so I figured why not make one for my incense cones. Creating the ghost shape was trial and error but I kept a ping pong ball so the head would stay round. I also curved the ends outward a little bit so that when it's dry that it lays
