Frog council

Yesterday evening, as dusk settled and the air grew still, I had the most enchanting experience right in my backyard. Their bright, curious eyes seem to miss nothing. And don't forget 'The Quiet Observers' – the shy green frogs who blend perfectly with the reeds, offering thoughtful, silent contemplation. Each one, a vital participant in this nightly gathering. What truly defines this 'frog family' and its council? To me, it includes not just the various species of frogs but also the spirit of the pond itself – the dragonflies zipping by, the gentle rustle of the cattails, the soft glow of a nearby candle I sometimes light by the water, adding to the almost ASMR-like calm. It's a community, a miniature ecosystem where every creature plays a part. The council represents the collective wisdom and harmony of this little world. Imagine them discussing the best spots for catching insects, the safest places for tadpoles, or perhaps even the upcoming monsoon season! Their 'family' extends to the very essence of nature's balance. Sometimes, I’ll sit out there with a cup of coffee, just listening to their symphony, feeling the relaxing vibe.
