The title immediately grabbed my attention because I’ve always loved the song Don’t Take The Girl by Tim McGraw. It’s one of those songs that has you crying from the first verse and this book is NO DIFFERENT. While this book doesn’t mirror the song exactly, there are lyrics sprinkled through and the similarities in the storyline were *chef’s kiss* The writing style was right up my alley, and kept me hooked from start to finish.
London and Laney are real, raw, and share such a beautiful story. Their love was evident throughout the entire book and I rooted for them so hard.
I will definitely be reading the next book in this series.
