Star Wars pop-up library
finally managed to go down to Terminal 3 to see the Star Wars pop-up library.
the concept is cool, but maybe the execution could have been better. books take forever to be retrieved by the robot, and returning is a hassle as well
still worth a visit if you happen to be in the area.
During my visit, I discovered that borrowing books requires using the NLB Mobile app, where you can scan and borrow your favorite Star Wars-themed books. Membership is needed to borrow, so signing up beforehand is a must. The library features an interactive quiz called 'Which Jedi Are You?', allowing you to find out your Jedi identity, which adds a fun, engaging twist to the visit. Although the robot book retrieval system takes some time, this high-tech approach to book lending at a pop-up venue in the heart of Changi Airport makes the experience memorable. For Star Wars enthusiasts traveling through Singapore, this event is a delightful way to spend time before a flight or during a layover. Keep in mind that returning books can be a bit tricky, so plan accordingly. Also, the location in Terminal 3 means it’s quite accessible for travelers.
