I DID IT!!!!!

Hey Tenno fam! I've been on a mission lately to truly master the Sancti Magistar, and let me tell you, it's been a journey of trial and error, but I'm so stoked with where I've landed! Initially, I thought my Magistar was 'not bad...' hitting around 1,712 damage on average, which was decent for general use, but I knew deep down it could be pushed even FURTHER. For those who might be new to it, the Sancti Magistar is a unique Syndicate melee weapon from New Loka. What makes it special, beyond its decent stats, is its Justice Syndicate effect. This proc creates an area-of-effect blast that deals Radiation damage, restores a chunk of health and energy, and grants a temporary armor buff. It’s an amazing utility tool, and I really wanted to build around enhancing both its damage and its syndicate proc for ultimate versatility. My initial build was pretty standard: Pressure Point, Fury, some elemental mods. It worked, but it felt... generic. I wanted to see those big yellow (or red!) numbers, and really maximize its potential. So, I started diving deep into modding principles for melee weapons, focusing on how to synergize critical chance, critical damage, status chance, and raw damage with the Magistar's unique properties. The breakthrough came when I started experimenting more aggressively with Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds. These mods are game-changers for any melee weapon, especially those with good base critical and status chances. With Blood Rush, your critical chance scales incredibly with your combo counter, turning good crit into amazing crit. Weeping Wounds does the same for status chance. Combining these meant I could reliably proc status effects for Condition Overload, which was my next key mod. Condition Overload significantly increases damage for each status effect on the enemy – a perfect match for the Magistar's already decent status chance and the potential for multiple procs. Here’s a glimpse at my current optimized build, which has completely transformed my gameplay: Stance Mod: Tempo Royale (for those fluid, powerful combos) Core Damage: Primed Pressure Point (essential for base damage) Crit Chance: Blood Rush (scales with combo counter for insane crits) Crit Damage: Organ Shatter (boosts those critical hits even more) Status Chance: Weeping Wounds (scales with combo for reliable status procs) Condition Overload: (huge damage multiplier based on enemy status effects) Attack Speed: Berserker Fury (more attack speed, more hits, faster combo generation) Elemental Combo: I usually go for a Corrosive + Heat combo (e.g., Primed Fever Strike + North Wind combined with Volcanic Edge). This strips armor and deals sustained damage over time. Sometimes I swap one for a pure Toxin if I'm facing unarmored Grineer or certain Infested. Flex Slot: This is where I play around. Sometimes I use a Gladiator mod for even more crit scaling, or a Reach mod for better crowd control, or even Quickening for more attack speed if Berserker Fury isn't proccing fast enough. The results? Absolutely mind-blowing! I'm no longer just hitting for 1,712; I'm seeing numbers well into the tens of thousands, sometimes hundreds of thousands, especially against armored targets with multiple status effects. The Justice proc, too, feels much more impactful. I can sustain myself and my team much better in tough situations, constantly restoring health and energy while dishing out massive damage. Using this build, I've found the Sancti Magistar pairs incredibly well with Warframes that can further boost melee damage, provide armor stripping, or simply keep enemies in range. Think Naramon for combo duration, or frames like Valkyr, Garuda, or even Inaros for pure survivability while you're in the melee fray. Experiment with different heavy attack combos too; sometimes a well-timed heavy attack can clear a room! It’s been incredibly rewarding to push this weapon to its limits.
