... Read moreAs someone who loves snacking on flavorful bread, I can say that this cheesy garlic bread recipe is a fail-safe favorite in my household. The secret lies in using a soft Italian loaf paired with fresh garlic-infused butter and a blend of Italian herbs like rosemary and seasoning that perfectly balance the richness of the cheese. One tip I found helpful is to ensure the butter is at room temperature or slightly melted before mixing with garlic, which helps it spread evenly on the bread. Adding both mozzarella and Parmesan gives the bread a wonderful gooey yet slightly nutty flavor. For an extra fresh touch, sprinkling chopped parsley on top adds color and a subtle herbal note. Baking the bread covered with foil initially keeps it moist, and removing the foil partway allows the cheese to brown nicely for that irresistible golden crust. Serving this bread with a warm marinara sauce enhances the taste and makes it perfect for dipping. What I also appreciate about this recipe is how customizable it is. You can add a pinch of crushed red pepper for some heat or swap herbs based on what you have. This cheesy garlic bread is great as a party appetizer, a side for pasta dishes, or simply a comforting snack during cozy evenings at home.
