Baby products I ACTUALLY USED in the newborn stage
As a FTM I for so many baby products and had no idea which ones to use. These are some baby products I actually used and helped navigate through the rough newborn stage.
1. Nose Frida
Honestly anything from Frida baby or Frida mom is so useful, I found that the nose Frida works better than the electric one! Might seem nasty but so much better than a stuffy nose.
2. Bed/travel bassinet
I got gifted a bassinet that folds and was portable, this was so helpful whenever he was sleeping. I could have the bassinet anywhere with me in a safe level space. The one I had I think was called the snuggle nest, this one had white noises, ocean noises, and lullabies.
3. Tubby Todd ointment
This one went super viral on tik tok I tried it out, he had lots of bumps on his face and around his neck and chest. This started clearing🤔Cons: his skin within a week, after a week and a half it was clear!
4. Aquaphor
I got one big tub of aquaphor and I still have it, honestly it works for anything like dry skin, taking off bandaids after getting shots, diaper rashes, etc. A trick I would do was grab some aquaphor and some of my breastmilk, mix it and leave it in the fridge this was a more effective rash cream.
5. Nail clippers/ nail filers
This just helps in general as a newborn he came out with the longest sharpest nails. And even now as a toddler I still use them, always good to clip them so they don’t stretch themselves or yourself.
