I have seen situations where protective measures, intended to keep order, instead contribute to a cycle of shielding vile behavior, leaving victims without proper recourse. As a nurse and a member of the community, it’s essential to discuss these issues openly. We must strive to reform processes so they can handle accountability without risking collapse. This means improving transparency, strengthening ethical standards, and advocating for systems that prioritize victim protection as much as institutional preservation. Discussing these subjects helps in raising awareness and pushing for change that ensures justice doesn't come at the expense of societal stability, but rather strengthens it.
