I’ve been seeing these at Five Below and finally grabbed them! These Surface fragrances for $5 and they come with matching body butters.

The three scents I chose:

✨ Trace – clean skin scent (closest to the Glossier You vibe)

🍦 Trace Crème – warm, creamy, cozy fragrance

🌸 Trace Violet – floral with sandalwood notes

From what people online are saying:

• Trace: about 4–5 hour wear

• Trace Crème: around 7 hours

• Trace Violet: stronger sandalwood floral scent

When I first spotted these Surface fragrances at Five Below, I was skeptical about their quality given the affordable price tag. However, after trying the three scents—Trace, Trace Crème, and Trace Violet—I was pleasantly surprised by their strength and lasting power. Trace offers a subtle, clean skin scent that really channels the vibe of Glossier You without being an exact copy, making it a perfect everyday fragrance. It stayed on for about 4 to 5 hours, which is impressive for a $5 perfume. Trace Crème leans into warm, creamy notes that felt cozy and comforting, lasting even longer at around 7 hours. For those who enjoy a floral and sandalwood blend, Trace Violet offers a stronger, more distinct scent that stood out especially well in the evening. Along with these perfumes, the matching body butters provide extra hydration and help layer the fragrance for better longevity. The packaging is simple but chic, and the 6.3 oz size feels generous for the price. What impressed me most was how these fragrances are like sisters to the Glossier You original—they don’t try to mimic it exactly but instead offer their own unique takes on similar scent profiles. This means you get quality, variety, and excellent value all in one. If you’re on a budget but don’t want to compromise on scent quality, I highly recommend giving Surface fragrances a try at Five Below. They may just become your new everyday staples.
