Hey family! ❤️ I just want to share a thought with you tonight. We KNOW the DEVIL 🐍 is real. We KNOW he’s out here looking for someone to DEVOUR 😈 (1 Peter 5:8). But can we be honest? 🤔 Sometimes the “attack” we’re blaming on the enemy is really just a BAD DECISION we made.
The enemy DECEIVES 🫣, he TEMPTS 🍎, and he TRIES to lead us astray. But God also gives us WARNING SIGNS 🚩—and if we’re honest, we’ve all ignored them before. That “RED FLAG 🚩” in that RELATIONSHIP 💔? That uneasy feeling before making a CHOICE 🤷🏽♀️? That SCRIPTURE 📖 that kept popping up, reminding us of what’s right? Those were all GOD waving His hands saying, “STOP ✋🏾, turn back!” But we KEPT GOING.
The Bible says to put on the FULL ARMOR OF GOD 🛡️ (Ephesians 6:11), but sometimes we step out HALF-DRESSED! When we do that, we become EASY TARGETS 🎯 for the enemy. But we can’t just blame the enemy—we have to own our CHOICES, REPENT, and learn to STAY READY.
So tonight, I’m checking MYSELF. Lord, help me to SEE THE RED FLAGS 🚩, LISTEN to Your voice 🔊, and WALK in obedience 👣. Let’s armor up and move WISELY!
📖 Ephesians 6:11 – Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
📖 James 1:14 – But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.
