No excuses…use what you have!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Hey y’all! Just checking in with a little evening encouragement straight from the Word and my HEART❤️🔥.
Let’s talk about SHAMGAR — a man most folks skip over. But y’all, he was a GIANT in the Spirit!
“After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath, who struck down six hundred Philistines with an oxgoad. He too saved Israel.” (Judges 3:31 NIV)
He had no sword ⚔️. No status 🧍🏾♂️. No title 🎖️. Just an OXGOAD — a farming tool — and the COURAGE to move when God called ✋🏾. And he didn’t make EXCUSES❌.
"In those days, people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes." (Judges 21:25 NLT) — Sounds familiar, right? The world’s wild right now 🌍, but God is STILL raising up warriors with a KINGDOM MENTALITY👑.
Shamgar reminds us: when you USE WHAT YOU HAVE 🛠️, God will do what only HE can ✨. Your little in God’s hands becomes LEGENDARY🔥.
You might not have the degree 🎓, the following 📱, or the background 🏚️ — but you DO have GOD ✝️. That’s more than enough.
People will try to LABEL you 🏷️. Let your FRUIT speak louder 🍎. Don’t waste time clapping back 👋🏾 at folks God didn’t assign to your destiny — it’s just a DISTRACTION 🚫.
"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin." (Zechariah 4:10 NLT)
There’s PURPOSE in your hands 👐🏾. No more excuses. Just SAY YES ✅.

In a world filled with distractions and challenges, the story of Shamgar serves as a powerful reminder that we each possess unique tools and gifts to work with. Despite lacking traditional weapons or status, Shamgar utilized an oxgoad, a simple farming tool, to achieve greatness. This narrative not only emphasizes the importance of taking action but also demonstrates that God can multiply our small efforts into significant outcomes. The challenges we face today might seem insurmountable, but like Shamgar, we are encouraged to trust in God’s plan for our lives. Often, society measures success by external accomplishments, like degrees or social media followings. However, true power lies in our faith and willingness to use what we have at our disposal, regardless of how insignificant it may seem. Moreover, the notion of not allowing distractions to derail us is crucial. When we focus on our journey and let our actions reflect our values, we attract positivity and purpose. Embracing our unique paths and staying committed to God’s will can lead to remarkable transformations, not just in our lives but in the lives of those around us. As you reflect on your journey, consider what tools God has placed in your hands. No more excuses—embrace your purpose and step forward with courage!
