Let’s do a “fit” check (for you old heads, outfit)
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Good morning, family! I hope you’re waking up CLOTHED in GRACE today — and if not, let’s fix that together. Today’s devo is from COLOSSIANS 3:12, and it’s reminding us that we’ve been CHOSEN✨ by God — SET APART — handpicked to walk differently, talk differently, LOVE differently.
We are supposed to be WEARING the CHARACTER of CHRIST: COMPASSION🫶🏾, KINDNESS🤎, HUMILITY🧎🏾♀️, GENTLENESS🫱🏾♀️, and PATIENCE⏳. Now that might sound weird — like, how do I wear something you can’t see? But see, when your HEART is changed❤️, your LIFE starts looking like JESUS✨.
God’s saying this isn’t something you have to strive to do — it’s who you ALREADY ARE when you’re in HIM✝️. But let’s be real, life is messy. People try you👀. The enemy is sneaky🐍. And sometimes we throw on ATTITUDES instead of ANOINTING 🧴. We put on PRIDE instead of PEACE🕊️.
So today read Galatians 5:22-23 and Romans 13:14, then check your outfit: WHAT ARE YOU WEARING? Are you clothed in the CHARACTER of CHRIST🩵? And if you know you’ve been rocking something else — ask the HOLY SPIRIT to help you get dressed right. Start with one piece. Maybe today it’s HUMILITY🧎🏾♂️ or maybe PATIENCE⏳.
Be INTENTIONAL. Be REAL. Walk it out. Your WARDROBE is your WITNESS🧥.

In today's fast-paced world, staying connected to our faith can sometimes feel challenging. 'Dressing' in the characteristics that Jesus exemplified—such as compassion, kindness, and humility—requires us to consciously choose to live intentionally each day. When we wake up, we can start our day by asking ourselves what spiritual outfit we are wearing. Are we reflecting peace instead of pride? Do we allow the Holy Spirit to guide our choices in our actions and attire? It's essential to check in with ourselves regularly, just as one would with physical clothing. By engaging with scripture, such as Galatians 5:22-23, we can redefine our understanding of personal appearance and character. The Bible constantly invites believers to embody virtues that stand in stark contrast to societal norms—being patient amidst chaos, showing gentleness in anger, and acting with humility in prideful situations. Remember, your wardrobe is a witness of your faith journey. Choose your 'clothes' wisely, ensuring they align with your heart's desires to reflect Christ's love in the world. Each attribute of the spirit is fundamental in building a community of faith, encouraging others to engage in intentional living, and reminding us that we are indeed set apart as chosen ones. Embrace the beauty of being clothed in grace and let your internal transformation shine through your daily interactions.
