Known by God, Not Likes

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Hey family!! I’ve got a word that’s been BURNING in my spirit this evening🔥. Let’s talk about something I’ve seen happen way too often—putting UNTESTED people in positions to LEAD the people of GOD🙅🏽‍♀️. Listen... this is NOT just a small mistake—it’s a DANGEROUS one⚠️❗️

In Acts 6:3📖, when the early church had a need for leaders, they didn’t just pick random folks. They said, “select from among you seven men of GOOD REPUTATION✨, FULL of the Spirit🕊️ and of WISDOM🧠…” That’s INTENTIONALITY✅, y’all. They didn’t choose folks just because they were nice, loud, popular🎤, or had the gift of gab🗣️. They chose people who were KNOWN to walk with GOD👣, not just TALK about Him‼️

Today, in our microwave society⏱️, folks wanna skip the proving ground. But the TRUTH is—you don’t put people OVER others who haven’t learned how to get UNDER God’s AUTHORITY🙇🏽‍♀️. LEADERS should be SERVANTS first🧽. They should be DISCIPLINED📘, HUMBLE🧎🏽‍♂️, and rooted in the WORD📖.

This ain’t about PERFECTION, but it IS about POSITIONING. When someone is chosen to shepherd souls🩺, teach the WORD🗣️, or guide others in faith🧭—they need to be SPIRITUALLY MATURE, not just spiritually energetic⚡.

Let’s be like the believers in Acts—SELECT with WISDOM🧠. PRAY before promoting🙏🏽. TEST before trusting🧪. Because souls are on the line and God’s people deserve to be led WELL💯.

Reflecting on Acts 6:3 and similar scriptures, it's essential to discern the character of leaders. Spiritually mature leaders should embody qualities such as humility, wisdom, and a strong foundation in the Word of God, instead of just being charismatic or influential on platforms like Facebook. The role of a leader is to serve, guiding their community towards spiritual growth and truth. Moreover, promoting sound leadership practices encourages a healthy church environment, safeguarding the faith and well-being of the congregation. In this light, prayer and discernment become crucial in selecting individuals who can shepherd souls effectively and lead by example. It's time to return to the biblical model of leadership, emphasizing spiritual depth over surface-level appeal.
