Would you do it to Jesus?
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Hey y’all!! Happy morning ☀️— I pray your HEART is OPEN and your SPIRIT is READY because this WORD right here? It got me TOGETHER this morning!!
Matthew 25:40 says what you do to the LEAST of these, you do to HIM. And we LOVE that when we’re blessing folks, right? Giving clothes 👕, food 🍲, prayers 🙏🏾, hugs 🤎, and kind words 💬. But the LORD showed me — that sword cuts BOTH WAYS⚔️.
If you BLESS someone, you're blessing JESUS. But if you mistreat someone? You’re mistreating HIM too 😣.
Whew… that’ll make you think twice, won’t it?
🤔Would I curse JESUS out in traffic? 🚗
🤔Would I scroll past JESUS needing help? 📱
🤔Would I leave JESUS “unread” when He texts me? 📵
It’s not just about being NICE. It’s about REFLECTING His CHARACTER ✝️. If we truly LOVE 💕 Him, that LOVE should show up in how we treat EVERYBODY — especially those society tries to forget or dismiss 🙇🏾♂️.
Let this word SINK IN today ⬇️. Let it SHAPE how you move ✨. Ask the LORD to HELP you be more like HIM… even when it’s inconvenient 🙏🏾.
Scriptures to Reflect On🙏🏾:
🕊️Luke 6:31 – “Treat others the same way you want them to treat you.”
🕊️Romans 12:10 – “Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor.”

You know, sometimes in our spiritual walk, we encounter verses that just unlock a new level of understanding. For me, recently, it's been delving deeper into Ephesians 1:15-17. This passage, where Paul prays for the believers in Ephesus, truly illuminates what it means to live out our identity in Christ. He prays for wisdom and revelation so we can truly know God better, and understand the hope to which we've been called, and the riches of our glorious inheritance. Thinking about this has really helped solidify my understanding of who I am in Jesus. It's not just about what I *do*, but about whose I *am*. This profound sense of belonging and being chosen, redeemed, and sealed by the Holy Spirit – that's our true identity in Christ. It's a foundation that empowers us to live differently. When I remember the immense love and grace God has poured into my life, it naturally compels me to extend that same love and grace to others. This ties so beautifully into the idea of serving others with humility and kindness. I used to think of service as simply doing good deeds. But through reflecting on Ephesians, I've realized it's so much more! It's an overflow of the Spirit within us, a tangible expression of our inheritance in Christ. When we serve, we’re not just performing an act; we're actively mirroring God's character. I remember a moment last week, feeling a bit rushed and impatient. Someone asked for help, and my first thought was honestly, 'Ugh, not right now!' But then, this deep-seated truth about my identity, about God's compassion and humility towards me, just clicked. I paused, took a breath, and helped them. It was a small act of kindness, but in that moment, it felt like I was truly reflecting His love in a way that goes beyond just being 'nice.' It was rooted in who I am in Him. The prayer from the OCR really resonated with me too: 'God, open my heart to see those in need as You see them. Help me serve with compassion and humility, reflecting Your love through my actions. Let my small acts of kindness point others to You.' It’s a daily prayer for me now. Understanding our rich inheritance and identity in Christ, as Paul prays in Ephesians, transforms how we approach every interaction. It moves us from merely being polite to genuinely embodying Christ's love. It challenges us to see every person as someone Jesus died for, someone worthy of our humility and kindness. Living out this truth means that our actions aren't just good deeds, but powerful testimonies to the hope and glory we have in Him. It’s truly about letting His character shine through us, even when it feels inconvenient, making every act of service a reflection of our profound connection to Him.
