Give your heart away!

Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!

Hey hey family! 😊☀️ I was in the WORD this morning and God dropped something to really think about on my spirit 🕊️ — 2 Corinthians 9:7. It says “Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God LOVES a cheerful giver” 💝. But it’s not just talking about MONEY 💵—it’s about our whole LIFE 🧍🏾‍♀️.

See, back in the day, some Jewish BELIEVERS in Corinth had said they’d help the folks suffering in Jerusalem 🏙️. But when it came time to GIVE, they PULLED BACK. 😬 That’s why Paul reminded them: GOD doesn’t want us giving out of guilt 😔. He wants our GIVING to come from JOY 😄 and a WILLING HEART ❤️.

Family, this hit me. Because we’ve ALL been blessed in different ways 🙌🏾—whether it’s TIME 🕓, RESOURCES 💼, WISDOM 🧠, or just being PRESENT 🤝🏾. And if we’re not MOVED to give in ANY way, that’s a HEART thing 🫀. We gotta PRAY 🙏🏾 for God to stir up a spirit of GENEROSITY in us so we reflect HIS CHARACTER 💥.

The goal? To be BLESSED to be a BLESSING 👐🏾. Not hoarders. Not givers under pressure. But people who GIVE with JOY because we KNOW everything we have belongs to HIM anyway 💯👑.

Scriptures like Luke 6:38 remind us that giving leads to receiving—‘For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.’ Thus, a generous heart not only reflects God's character but also establishes a cycle of giving and receiving that cultivates community and relationships. Embracing this journey of generosity aligns with our purpose to spread love and kindness.
