Not Just Waiting on Heaven
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Hey family! 👋🏾💜 I’ve been sitting with a question that’s been pressing on my heart tonight: Am I REALLY putting in work for the KINGDOM? 🧐
Let’s be honest—some of us are great at church attendance ⛪️, faithful in tithing 💸, and solid when it comes to praying for blessings 🙏🏾... but when it comes to DISCIPLESHIP? When it comes to actually DOING what Jesus said in Matthew 28:19–20—to GO, TEACH, and MAKE DISCIPLES—we can fall real quiet. 😶
This isn’t about SALVATION 🕊️—you can’t earn that. But it IS about OBEDIENCE. It’s about living a life that PLEASES GOD 💯. The parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14–30) makes it clear: God EXPECTS us to USE what He gave us. Not bury it. Not sit on it. Not wait ‘til we feel “ready.” He’s coming back looking for FRUIT 🍇—not just CHURCH ATTENDANCE or “good intentions.” 🪑
So I ask you... ARE YOU PUTTING IN WORK for the KINGDOM? Or just waiting on the steps of the church for heaven while people around you stay LOST? 😔 Let’s get ACTIVE, let’s be LIGHTS 💡, and let’s get back to the MISSION 💥.
📖 Scriptures to Mediate On🙏🏾: Matthew 28:19–20, Matthew 25:14–30

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in routine church activities without engaging in the essential work of discipleship. This article invites readers to consider their role in actively spreading faith and making disciples, as instructed in Matthew 28:19-20. Many churchgoers may feel satisfied with their attendance and giving, but true obedience lies in living out the teachings of Jesus. Scripture reminds us that we are all gifted uniquely; our talents and resources are meant to further His kingdom. The parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) serves as a stark reminder of our responsibility to be fruitful and proactive in our faith journey. The verse challenges followers of Christ not to wait idly but to seek opportunities to serve and impact lives positively. By actively pursuing our mission, we demonstrate our commitment to God and our obedience to His Word. As we reflect on our actions, we are called to use what we've been given to uplift others and share the good news. Whether through community service, evangelism, or simply being a supportive friend, every act of love contributes to the mission. So, take a moment to evaluate your walk with Christ: Are you just waiting at the church door, or is your life a testimony of discipleship? Let's ignite our passion and fulfill the Great Commission, shining brightly in our communities as beacons of hope!
