Hey y’all! 🤎 Hope your evening is peaceful and REFRESHING✨… Let’s talk for a sec about this thing we keep hearing: “Do it for the CULTURE.” 🎭🗣️ But here’s a hard truth that needs to be said: if “the CULTURE” isn’t in ALIGNMENT with the KINGDOM, it’s likely in CONFLICT with CHRIST. 💥✝️
Culture shifts 📉, but GOD’S WORD stays the same 📖. A lot of what’s happening out there—whether it’s in music🎶, trends💅🏾, movements✊🏾, or even fashion👚—is DISRESPECTFUL to the LORD 😮💨. When we blindly SUPPORT something just because it’s “popular” or “part of the culture,” we could be cosigning something that’s actually DEMONIC👿 and completely UNHOLY❌.
Let’s keep it real with ourselves 👀. Are we living to REPRESENT JESUS or to be RECOGNIZED by the WORLD? You can’t STRADDLE both. Don’t get played into thinking that going along with the crowd is the same as STANDING with GOD 🙅🏾♀️.
🕊️Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be CONFORMED to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind…” 💭
🕊️1 John 2:15 reminds us, “Do not LOVE the world nor the things in the world…” 🌍
So next time you say “I’m doing it for the CULTURE,” make sure that CULTURE aligns with the KINGDOM. Otherwise, UNHOOK that caboose🚂 and keep it moving 🙌🏾🔥.
