Don’t Let Your Feed Fool Them

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Hey fam! 👋🏾 Just wanted to drop this little heart check the Lord gave me tonight 🙏🏾. Sometimes we show up in places we didn’t mean to — and I don’t just mean physically. I’m talking about our VOLUNTARY PRESENCE — that means where we CHOOSE to show up 🙋🏾‍♀️. The truth is, even just following someone online can send a silent message of AGREEMENT, SUPPORT, or even APPROVAL 🧏🏾‍♀️.

I had to go through my socials today and I stated cleaning house 🧼. I unfollowed events, influencers, even old friends… not in HATE, but because they no longer ALIGN with where God is TAKING me ✝️. If we are really serious about being SET APART 🙌🏾, then we can’t let our digital presence contradict our WITNESS 💯.

You can LOVE people ❤️ and still choose NOT to follow their path. You can have COMPASSION 🤎 without COMPROMISE. God calls us to be IN the world, but not OF it 🌍 (Romans 12:2). Our daily walk must REFLECT the GOSPEL we proclaim 💬✨.

Check your feed 🧐. Look at your connections, your likes, your comments, your presence. Ask yourself — “Does this GLORIFY GOD or confuse my WITNESS?” Because your PAGE is part of your PLATFORM 📱🛑.

We are DISCIPLES. Our lives are often the only BIBLES some people will read before ever opening the actual one 📘. So make sure your presence — even online — reflects JESUS 🙏🏾.

Just as our actions in the physical realm can lead others toward or away from faith, our online engagements serve as an extension of our witness. The scripture reminds us to discern what aligns with our walk (Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 6:17), urging us to cultivate relationships and interactions that affirm our identity in Christ. A helpful exercise is to regularly audit your feeds. Ask yourself: Do these accounts and conversations uplift my spirit? Are they pulling me closer to God or distracting me from my purpose? Engaging in this introspection can lead to a more intentional digital presence, allowing your online activity to count as one more way to share the love of Jesus. By doing so, your presence can inspire others and serve as a beacon of light in their lives.
