Let it break you!

Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!

Hey y’all 🤎 Good morning!! ☀️ I was sitting with the Lord today, and He showed me something DEEP 💧 from Matthew 5:4 — "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be COMFORTED." At first glance, this sounds like it’s only talking about GRIEF from losing a loved one 💔… but y’all, it’s so much MORE than that 🙌🏾.

This verse is talking about letting our hearts BREAK 💢 over what breaks GOD’S heart 😢. When we start to SEE 👀 the sin in our lives and in the world 🌍 the way HE sees it… that MOURNING 🥺 is actually a BLESSING 🙏🏾. Why? Because it means our SPIRITUAL EYES are OPEN 👁️ and our hearts are SOFT 💗 before Him. That kind of grief leads to REPENTANCE 😭… and that’s when the COMFORT 💞 of God floods in.

It’s not about staying in sorrow — it’s about ALIGNMENT 💯. When you FEEL what He feels, that’s how you know you’re walking CLOSE 👣 with Him. And that’s the REAL blessing 🎁💖.

So today, let’s not just pray for comfort in our losses… let’s ask God to BREAK US for what breaks HIM 💔 — because that kind of brokenness leads to HEALING ❤️‍🩹 and TRANSFORMATION 🔥.

📖 Scriptures to Meditate On 🙏🏾:

Psalm 51:17, James 4:8–10

... Read moreIn today's fast-paced world, we often overlook the profound blessings that come from moments of grief and heartache. The concept of mourning isn't solely about losing a loved one, but rather about nurturing a deeper connection with God through spiritual awareness. Matthew 5:4 assures us that those who mourn are blessed, as this state encourages repentance and a softening of our hearts towards God's perspective. When we allow ourselves to feel the weight of the world's brokenness—experiencing it the way God does—we open our spiritual eyes. This genuine mourning is not just sadness; it's a catalyst that brings about transformation and healing in our lives. As we turn our focus to divine attributes, such as grace and righteousness, we pave the way for God’s comfort to flow abundantly into our hearts. Meditating on scriptures like Psalm 51:17 and James 4:8–10 further reinforces the truth that God is close to the vulnerable and tender-hearted. These verses highlight how a contrite spirit is valued in the eyes of the Lord, and how drawing near to Him facilitates comfort during our mourning. Participating in this emotional journey allows us to align ourselves with God’s heart, making us conduits of love and healing within our communities. As we pray and seek understanding, asking God to help us feel what He feels, we cultivate an authentic relationship that can change not only our lives but also those around us. So let us embrace this journey together, recognizing that each tear shed for what breaks God's heart carries with it the promise of profound blessing and divine connection.
