Hey y’all! 🌆 Just sitting with some conviction from the Holy Spirit this evening 💔 and I have to share. There’s a DANGEROUS👀 trend happening in the church: sermons that ENTERTAIN🎭 instead of EQUIP🪖.
God didn’t call pastors to hype us up—He called them to BUILD us up💪🏽, GUARD our souls🛡️, and HELP us discern the SIGNS of the TIMES⏳. But instead, many pulpits are filled with “get ready for your BLESSING💵” while God is saying, “Get ready for the BATTLE⚔️.”
We are in PERILOUS TIMES—chaos is increasing, deception is growing, and yet, the Word is being watered down🧃. Saints, we can’t afford to be UNPREPARED🫣. We must be rooted in TRUTH📖, not just HYPE.
True shepherds are WATCHMEN who SPEAK when God says speak 🗣️—even when it’s uncomfortable. We don’t need any more motivational speeches—we need HOLY INSTRUCTION 🔥.
Let’s intercede for our pastors to be COURAGEOUS🦁 and stay FAITHFUL to the FULL counsel of God. And let’s stay HUMBLE🧎🏽♀️ and HUNGRY🍽️ for the Word ourselves!

True spiritual nourishment comes from engaging with the Scriptures deeply. God's Word is clear; we are called to prepare for spiritual battles rather than merely enjoy motivational talks. Ephesians 6:10-18 outlines our 'Battle Plan' against spiritual forces, providing the full armor of God that believers should wear to defend against deception. This scripture is crucial for understanding our role as both individual believers and members of a faith community. Moreover, the role of pastors is not only to inspire but also to caution and prepare the flock for challenges ahead. They are to act as watchmen, alerting congregations to spiritual dangers while guiding them toward truth. Intercessory prayer for our pastors is paramount; the demand for authenticity and courage in their teachings can only be met through our collective support in prayer and action. As we navigate these perilous times, reflecting on our call to be humble and hungry for truth is crucial. What can we, as community members, do to foster environments that prioritize biblical teaching? Sharing encouragement and accountability can help keep the focus on sound doctrine.
