Hey family! ❤️🙏🏾 I pray your day has been full of GOD’S GRACE✨ and HIS GOODNESS🌟. Tonight, I want to remind you that REST😌 is not optional—it’s part of our WALK WITH GOD🚶🏾♂️. Some people think slowing down means losing ground, but the TRUTH📖 is, God has built REST into His design for our lives.
Think about businesses like Hobby Lobby 🏬 and Chick-fil-A 🍗—whether you like them or not, they’ve chosen to HONOR GOD🙌🏾 by closing on Sundays, and guess what? They’re CRUSHING IT💥. Why? Because when you put GOD FIRST☝🏾, He takes care of the REST🛏️.
We saw this in the WILDERNESS🏜️ with the Israelites. God rained down MANNA🍞 from heaven—fresh every morning—except on the Sabbath. He provided DOUBLE the day before so His people could REST💤 and still be FULL🍽️. He’s the SAME GOD⛅ today, providing for His people in ways we can’t always see but can always TRUST 🤲🏾.
So if you’ve been RUNNING🏃🏾♀️ non-stop, maybe it’s time to SLOW DOWN⏳ and take a HOLY PAUSE⛪. Your spirit, mind, and body need it. And when you REST in His presence, you make room for His PROVISION💝, PEACE☮️, and POWER⚡.
