Seek His Heart, Not Just His Hand
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Good morning family! ☀️🙏🏾 Today I woke up reflecting on one of those verses we’ve all heard a thousand times—Matthew 7:7: “ASK and it will be given to you; SEEK and you will find; KNOCK and the door will be opened to you.” 🗝️🚪✨
But here’s the thing… too often we only see this through the narrow lens of MATERIAL wants 💰🏠🚗. We think of it as a blank check to get what we DESIRE. But this verse is so much deeper 💡🔥. What God is truly inviting us into is RELATIONSHIP 💞👑.
Just like a loving FATHER 🧔🏾👶🏾 doesn’t just hand out stuff, but gives GUIDANCE 📖, WISDOM 🧠, PROTECTION 🛡️, and LOVE ❤️—our Heavenly Father is calling us to SEEK His HEART 💓, not just His HAND 🤲🏾.
When we come to Him in PRAYER 🙏🏾 and FELLOWSHIP 🤝🏾, when we KNOCK 🚪 with sincerity, He opens the door wide to His PRESENCE 🌈🌟. And when we SEEK Him first, He promises that “ALL these things will be added” (Matt 6:33). That means we don’t have to chase MATERIAL things—He PROVIDES 🕊️🌿🍞.
So today, I encourage you: don’t just ASK for the blessing 💎, ASK for the BLESSED ONE ✝️. Don’t just SEEK provision, SEEK His PRESENCE 🌟. Don’t just KNOCK for a breakthrough, KNOCK for COMMUNION with your Father 💞.
