Purpose In Your Pause

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Hey my beautiful family 🌸💫 — can we talk about how HARD it is to just STOP sometimes? 😅 Our world tells us to GRIND 💼, PUSH 💪🏾, and STAY BUSY 🏃🏾‍♀️ — even when our souls are EXHAUSTED 😩. But today at a wellness session, I heard something that made me think differently: sometimes the PAUSE is more POWERFUL than the PUSH 🕊️.

That truth took me right to Mary and Martha 👭🏾. Martha was doing all the things 💦 — cooking, cleaning, serving — and getting FRUSTRATED 😠 because Mary was just sitting there at JESUS’ feet 👣. But Jesus said, “Mary has chosen what is better.” Wow 😮. The PAUSE was the better thing!

Family, maybe God isn’t asking you to do MORE right now — maybe He’s asking you to BE STILL 🧘🏾‍♀️. The PAUSE allows your soul to catch up to your body 💗. It’s in those quiet moments where God RESTORES what the noise has drained 🎧💧. Don’t confuse inactivity with unproductivity. Sometimes your obedience looks like REST 😴 and your worship looks like STILLNESS 🙏🏾.

So tonight, don’t rush off after you pray 🙌🏾. Just sit. Breathe. Listen 👂🏾. There’s PURPOSE in that PAUSE. 💕
