Prayer and Praise - Give It All To God!

Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!

Good morning, my beautiful family 💛 I pray you woke up GRATEFUL 🙌🏾 and READY to face the day with PEACE in your heart 💖 because today’s verse is one of my favorites — James 5:13. It says, “Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises.” 💫 I LOVE this verse because it’s so plain and REAL 🗣️. It reminds us that whether we’re in a SEASON of PAIN 💔 or a SEASON of PRAISE 🎉, we should be TALKING to GOD first 🙏🏾.

Too often, we run to people 👥, social media 📱, or even our own thoughts 💭 before we run to HIM 👆🏾. But this verse calls us back to INTIMACY with the Father 💞. It’s saying, “Bring it ALL to ME — the TEARS and the TESTIMONIES, the HURT and the HAPPINESS.” ✨ When you’re down, PRAY 🕊️. When you’re up, PRAISE 🎶. No matter the season, make sure your first conversation of the day is with GOD ☀️.

So today, before you text 📨 or tweet 🐦, TALK to HIM first. Tell God about your JOURNEY 🛤️, your JOY 😄, your JUMP of faith 🙌🏾, and your JOURNAL of tears 💧.

He’s LISTENING 👂🏾. He’s CARING 💗. He’s ABLE 💪🏾.
