Choosing Peace is Choosing Power!

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Hey family 💛👋🏾 as we step into DAY 24 of our 31 DAYS OF PRAYER, MEDITATION, AND PREPARATION FOR 2026, I want us to pause and let this WORD sink deep into our spirit 🕊️—AVOID STRIFE ✋🏾🔥. The Bible tells us plainly, “It is an honor for a person to stop striving, since any fool can start a quarrel” (Proverbs 20:3). That verse hits home 🧠💥.

As believers 🙏🏾, we are called to live DIFFERENTLY 🌱. Strife isn’t just an argument—it’s a SPIRITUAL DRAIN 😮‍💨. It attracts more NEGATIVITY, more CONFUSION, and more PROBLEMS 🚫🌀. If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that strife multiplies when we entertain it 😔. But PEACE 🕊️ and JOY 😊 are CHOICES we get to make DAILY.

You can be confronted with stress 😤. You can be challenged 😠. You can even be wronged 💔. But you still get to CHOOSE 👣 how you respond. You can respond in the FLESH 🥊 or respond in the SPIRIT ✝️. Sometimes the most POWERFUL response is silence 🤫. Sometimes the HOLIEST move is walking away 🚶🏾‍♀️.

God never intended for us to live tangled up in constant conflict 🧶. He desires for us to live AT PEACE, IN JOY, and WITH ONE ANOTHER 🤝🏾. As we get ready to cross into a NEW YEAR 🎉, let’s leave strife behind 🧳. Let’s protect our PEACE 🛡️. Let’s choose JOY 💃🏾. Let’s live the way our Lord intended 🌿.
