When Faith Praises First!

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Good evening my beautiful brothers and sisters 💛🌙. Tonight’s devotion is a reminder we all need, especially when things look uncertain 🙏🏾. Psalm 44:6–8 (NIV) teaches us something POWERFUL 💥—our VICTORY 🏆 does not come from our OWN strength 💪🏾, our OWN plans 🧠, or our OWN tools 🛠️.

“I put no trust in my bow,

my sword does not bring me victory;

but you give us victory over our enemies,

you put our adversaries to shame.

In God we make our boast all day long,

and we will praise your name forever.” (NIV)

That means when it LOOKS like you’re LOSING 😔… when it FEELS like the wrong choice was made 🤦🏾‍♀️… when the OUTCOME doesn’t make sense yet ⏳—you still PRAISE 🙌🏾. Why? Because GOD is the one who FIGHTS for you ⚔️.

We’ve already talked about EXPECTING God’s GOODNESS ✨ and ANTICIPATING His FAVOR 🌿 because we are His CHILDREN 👣. Today builds on that truth. PRAISING in ADVANCE 🎶 is an ACT of FAITH 🔥. It says, “Lord, I TRUST You even before I SEE it.” 👀

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God KNOWS who you are 🕊️ and His PLANS are GOOD 🌈. You don’t have to FORCE the win 🏁. You don’t have to MANIPULATE the outcome 🧩. You don’t have to RELY on your own UNDERSTANDING 📖.

Just stay FAITHFUL 🤍. Stay in RELATIONSHIP 🤝. Let GOD do the REST 🙏🏾. He WILL finish the WORK He started in YOU 🌱.

So tonight, let’s PRAISE over the VICTORY 🏆—whether it looks GOOD or BAD. God is FAITHFUL 💯. He is TRUE 🕯️. He is our FATHER 👑. And He ALWAYS keeps His WORD 📜.
