Sheep With Responsibility!

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Hey family 👋🏾💛, tonight’s devotion reminded me that following Jesus is not PASSIVE🚫—it’s INTENTIONAL🎯. I witnessed something in God’s house 🏛️ that many celebrated 🙌🏾, but when filtered through SCRIPTURE📖, it revealed a DISCERNMENT GAP⚠️.

This message isn’t harsh, but it is HONEST💬. We love to talk about holding pastors accountable—and rightly so 🧑🏾‍🏫⚖️—but Scripture also makes it clear that WE ARE RESPONSIBLE TOO🙋🏾‍♀️. We can’t outsource our faith 🧾 or place our entire walk in someone else’s hands 👐🏾.

God has called us to be BEREAN-MINDED🧠, to SEARCH THE WORD📖, and to FOLLOW TRUTH🕊️, not personalities 🎭. If teaching appeals to our flesh but contradicts God’s nature ❌, it’s not from Him—no matter how loud the applause 👏🏾.

In the end, we won’t stand before God as a congregation—we’ll stand INDIVIDUALLY🧍🏾‍♀️. And excuses like “That’s what I was taught” won’t hold up when we had access to the truth 📖.

Sheep follow shepherds 🐑, yes—but sheep must also KNOW THE VOICE🎧 they’re following. Our responsibility is to stay ALIGNED🧭, SUBMITTED🙏🏾, and UNCOMPROMISED🔥.

Choose where you sit wisely 🪑. Your soul depends on it ❤️.
