Arise With The Light!

Starting the New Year with a heart full of hope and faith can be truly transformative. I've found that leaning into the promises of God, especially His light living within us, brings a sense of peace even when the world feels overwhelming. One personal practice I embraced is praying daily, asking God to help me be a light in my community and workplace, just as mentioned in the prayer asking to be used as a light to show grace and mercy. Reflecting on scriptures like John 8:12 where Jesus says, "I am the light of the world," has helped me stay focused on my purpose throughout daily challenges. It's comforting to remember that light casts out darkness, so in moments of fear or doubt, shining His light within me brings clarity and calm. I've also noticed that light is contagious — when I choose to show kindness, love, and truth in my everyday actions, it inspires those around me to do the same. This year, I’m making a conscious effort to surrender my worries and fears to God, knowing that His light will shine through every part of my life, even the unknown or difficult areas.
