Waiting Isn’t Wasted!

Good morning, family ☀️🙏🏾
I’ve been sitting with Lamentations 3:25, and it speaks straight to where many of us are right now. The verse says, “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;” That word HOPE matters 🕊️. Hope is ANTICIPATION. It’s looking forward 👀. And that means waiting ⏳.
Waiting is hard because we live in a culture of INSTANT ACCESS 📱. Food fast 🍔. Answers fast 🧠. Results fast ⚡. We’ve been conditioned to expect life to move on our timeline. But God does not rush ✋🏾. Some things must unfold according to DIVINE TIMING ⏰ for reasons we may understand later or never fully see.
Waiting requires FAITH 🙌🏾. Faith requires TRUST 🤎. And trust means believing God sees the END FROM THE BEGINNING 🔍 even when we only see today. Sometimes the wait is PROTECTION 🛡️. Sometimes it’s PREPARATION 🧱. Sometimes it’s INCREASED ABUNDANCE 🌾. But the promise remains: GOD IS GOOD 💛 to those who wait.
And let’s be clear, waiting is not passive 🧍🏾♀️. Waiting is ACTIVE 🔥. You PRAY 🙏🏾. You SEEK HIS FACE 🕊️. You READ THE WORD 📖. You FELLOWSHIP 🤝🏾. You TESTIFY 🗣️. You SERVE 💼. You keep doing the WORK OF THE KINGDOM 👑 while you wait.
Every believer is already exercising this muscle 💪🏾. We are all WAITING IN HOPE for the return of JESUS CHRIST ✝️. Waking up each day not knowing if today is the day 🌅. Waiting for all things to be made right 🕯️. That is hope. That is faith. And that waiting will NOT BE IN VAIN 🌱.
