Purpose Isn’t Always Pretty!
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Good morning my blessed family ☀️🙌🏾
Today I was reflecting on Esther 4:14, one of the most powerful verses in the story of Esther. In this moment, Esther has to decide whether she will risk her life to help save her people.
Her uncle Mordecai challenges her with a thought that has echoed through generations: what if you were brought into this position for such a time as this?
That question forces us to think about PURPOSE 🎯 differently.
Many times we picture PURPOSE 🌟 as something comfortable like serving, volunteering, or doing something that feels good. But Esther’s story reminds us that purpose sometimes requires COURAGE 🛡️, BOLDNESS 🔥, and deep TRUST 🙏🏾 in God.
Sometimes PURPOSE 📍 looks scary. Sometimes it looks like standing up when it would be easier to stay quiet.
But when God is in it, there is always GOODNESS 🌿, even if the path is hard.
So look around your life today. That difficult situation you’re facing might not be random. It might actually be part of the PLAN 📖 God is unfolding.
Because when God calls you into something, He also gives the STRENGTH 💪🏾 to walk it out.

Reflecting on Esther 4:14, it's clear that purpose isn’t always wrapped in comfort or ease. From my own journey, I’ve found that stepping into one’s purpose often demands embracing fear and uncertainty with faith. Like Esther, who risked everything for a greater good, we sometimes face situations where standing up is daunting but essential. One personal experience that resonates with this is when I had to make a bold decision in my career that others didn’t understand. It felt scary and uncertain, but trusting that I was placed in that moment for a reason gave me peace. The prayer from the article’s image truly encapsulates this: asking God to fill us with bold courage and freedom from fear. Purpose often requires us to advocate not only for ourselves but for others’ wellbeing, even when it demands vulnerability. It taught me that trusting the process, as reinforced by scriptures like Joshua 1:9 and Isaiah 41:10, can transform fear into strength. Challenges I once saw as obstacles revealed themselves as opportunities for growth and divine goodness. If you’re in a tough situation, consider this: your current path might be part of a larger plan God is unfolding. Embrace the courage to walk this path boldly, knowing that strength accompanies the call. Living purposefully means sometimes being uncomfortable but never alone in the journey.
