The Quiet Place In Between!
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Good morning, my blessed family ☀️🙏🏾💛
Today sits in that QUIET place…Easter Saturday🤫… that place between what looked like LOSS 💔 and what would become VICTORY 🙌🏾. First John 3:16 reminds us what LOVE ❤️ really is… that Jesus LAID DOWN His LIFE ✝️ for us. On this day, the disciples didn’t fully UNDERSTAND 🤔 what was happening. It probably felt FINAL 🚪, HEAVY 😔, and UNCERTAIN 🌫️.
But what they couldn’t SEE 👀 yet, we now KNOW 🙏🏾… this was not the END ❌, it was the SETUP 🔥.
Today is a day to REFLECT 🧎🏾♀️, to PAUSE ⏸️, to truly sit in the SACRIFICE 💔 Jesus made. And not just admire it… but ask ourselves… how do we LIVE this out? 🤲🏾 Because Scripture tells us we OUGHT to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters 💞.
That may not mean a cross ✝️… but it may mean FORGIVENESS 🤝, TIME ⏰, PATIENCE 💭, or LOVE when it’s HARD 😩.
Let today be a day of GRATITUDE 🙌🏾, MEDITATION 🧠, and SURRENDER 🤲🏾. Resurrection is coming 🌅… but don’t rush past the SACRIFICE.
🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾
John 15:13
Philippians 2:4

Easter Saturday holds a unique place in the Christian journey—a quiet pause filled with deep emotions and significant reflection. It’s a moment that sometimes feels heavy, uncertain, and final, much like the disciples experienced when Jesus lay in the tomb. This day invites us not only to mourn but to meditate on the immense love demonstrated through Jesus laying down His life for us. In my own faith walk, I have often found that embracing this 'quiet place' helps strengthen my understanding of sacrificial love. Sacrifice isn’t just about monumental acts—it can be found in everyday moments where we choose forgiveness instead of resentment, patience over frustration, and love even when it demands the most from us. It’s about living the words of First John 3:16 in practical ways: laying down parts of our own comfort and pride for the benefit of others. The prayer from the article’s image beautifully captures this sentiment: asking for courage to love without immediate reward, to serve and bless others even when outcomes aren’t visible. This has helped me appreciate that sacrifice and faith often require trust in unseen victories. Taking time on Easter Saturday to pause and reflect on scriptures like John 15:13 and Philippians 2:4, which remind us to prioritize others and love sacrificially, transforms how we approach daily challenges. It encourages a heart posture of gratitude and surrender, knowing that resurrection hope is coming, but that the silence and struggle before it have a vital purpose. If you find yourself in a place of quiet uncertainty or loss, remember that this season is setting up for victory. Use this time to meditate, pray, and ask yourself how you can live love more intentionally—through actions big and small. The quiet place in between is not just empty space; it is where faith grows deeply and prepares you for the joy that follows.
