Busy For God…But Do You Know Him?
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Good evening my beautiful family 💛🙏🏾✨
Tonight is a reminder that SALVATION 🙌🏾 is not about PERFORMANCE 🎭… it’s about RELATIONSHIP ❤️ with JESUS ✝️. In Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus tells us that not everyone who says “Lord, Lord” will enter the KINGDOM 👑. That means you can DO things for God and still not truly KNOW Him 😳.
That should wake us up, not scare us 🙏🏾. It calls us to be ALERT 👀, VIGILANT ⚠️, and ROOTED 🌱 in TRUTH 📖. Because even in the end times, DECEPTION 🌀 will be strong. We cannot live casually. We must stay CONNECTED 🔗 to the HOLY SPIRIT 🕊️, walking in OBEDIENCE 🚶🏾♀️ and DISCERNMENT 🧠.
The truth is, tomorrow is not promised ⏳. But here’s the GOOD NEWS 🎉… JESUS DIED ✝️ so we could have CERTAINTY 💯, not confusion. Everything we need is already in His WORD 📖.
Let’s LIVE READY 🙏🏾, LOVE deeply ❤️, and KNOW Him for real 💛✨.

In my own journey of faith, I've often found myself caught up in the busyness of church activities and religious performance, much like the checklist captured in the article's image: prayer, church service, witnessing, study, and relationship. While these are important disciplines, I realized that doing them mechanically doesn’t guarantee a deep, personal connection with Jesus. True faith requires more than just ticking boxes—it’s about cultivating an intimate relationship with Him. A turning point for me was understanding the warning in Matthew 7:21-23, where Jesus cautions that not everyone who calls Him 'Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven. This helped me see that it’s not about outward performance but an inward transformation fueled by knowing Jesus personally. Being busy for God without truly knowing Him can be misleading and spiritually draining. Staying connected to the Holy Spirit became essential in my walk. This connection offers the discernment to recognize deception and remain vigilant in faith. It’s like keeping an open line of communication with God through daily prayer, reading the Word, and meaningful worship rather than going through the motions only when scheduled. Moreover, living ready means embracing an eternal perspective, acknowledging that tomorrow is uncertain. This mindset encourages us to love deeply and serve wholeheartedly, grounded in the certainty of Jesus’ sacrifice and promises. By prioritizing relationship over performance, I found peace and purpose that go beyond surface-level spirituality. If you're someone who feels busy in your faith but wonders if you truly know God, I encourage you to reflect on your spiritual life intentionally. Integrate time for personal prayer and Bible meditation, invite the Holy Spirit to guide your daily decisions, and focus on genuine obedience born from love rather than obligation. The journey to knowing Jesus deeply is ongoing, but it’s the most fulfilling path you can take.
