What You Ignore Grows Too!
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Good evening, my blessed family 🙏🏾💛 I came across a post today that really RESONATED 🌱 with me, and I wanted to share what God showed me through it.
Our lives are like a GARDEN 🌿… but here’s the part that really hit me: we don’t just plant with what we DO… we plant with what we AVOID 👀.
When we IGNORE 🚫 disrespect, we are actually planting PERMISSION ❗. When we avoid HARD CONVERSATIONS 🗣️, we are planting CONFUSION 🌫️. When we neglect our HEALTH 🩺, HOMES 🏡, or RELATIONSHIPS ❤️, we are planting DECLINE ⬇️.
That means IGNORING is not neutral… it’s still SEED SOWING 🌱.
But when we CHOOSE 🙌🏾 to address things in TRUTH 📖, walk in LOVE ❤️, and live with DISCIPLINE 💪🏾, we begin planting LIFE 🌿 and PEACE ✨.
So we have to be INTENTIONAL 🎯 not just about what we START doing… but what we need to STOP ignoring 👀.
Because EVERYTHING grows 🌱… the question is, what are we planting—on purpose or by default? 🔥
🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾
Galatians 6:7
Ephesians 4:15

Reflecting on the metaphor of life as a garden, I've come to realize how easy it is to overlook certain areas simply because we avoid dealing with them. That small weed I ignored last week? It quickly grew and started taking over my garden bed, just like unresolved issues can silently grow in our lives when ignored. This experience has taught me that ignoring problems doesn’t mean they disappear; instead, ignoring them allows them to grow bigger and more complicated. For example, I used to avoid difficult conversations with close friends when I sensed tension. I thought giving space would solve it, but instead, confusion and resentment grew, straining the relationship. Only when I chose to speak truth in love and address the issues thoughtfully did our friendship start to heal and flourish again. It affirmed the article’s point that ignoring is not neutral — it’s planting seeds, often unwanted. Health is another area where neglect can quietly lead to decline. I've learned that skipping checkups or dismissing warning signs only allows health problems to develop further. Taking disciplined steps like regular exercise, mindful eating, and keeping appointments became a way I intentionally planted life and peace within myself. It’s a daily commitment that’s worth every effort. On a spiritual level, meditating on scriptures like Galatians 6:7 — "You reap what you sow" — reminds me that my choices have consequences. Being intentional not just about what I do, but also about what I refuse to ignore, creates a more vibrant and joyful life. It’s about cultivating awareness in what we allow to grow, as much as what we actively nurture. In summary, the wisdom that what we avoid or ignore blooms just as much as what we care for invites us to be proactive gardeners in our own lives. Facing challenges with love, truth, and discipline aligns perfectly with growth — in relationships, health, and spirit. Taking responsibility for all seeds planted ensures we cultivate a life worth living.
