What Are YOU Doing!?
✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙
Hey family 💛👋🏾
Let me ask you something…while God is WAITING ⏳ for souls to be SAVED 🙌🏾, what are we DOING 🤔? See, the Lord is not SLOW to return🛑—He is PATIENT ❤️, giving people TIME 🕰️ to REPENT 🔄 and come to Him ✝️.
That means this season is not for PASSIVITY 😴, it’s for PURPOSE 🎯. As the people of God, we should be PRAYING 🙏🏾, SERVING 🤝🏾, LOVING ❤️, and SPEAKING TRUTH 🗣️. We should be LIGHT 💡 in DARKNESS 🌑 and not blending in with the WORLD 🌍.
God’s HEART ❤️ is for the LOST 🐑, and ours should be too. Every day we wake up 🌅 is another opportunity to POINT someone to JESUS 🙌🏾✨.
Don’t get DISTRACTED 😵💫…get ALIGNED 📖. He’s coming BACK 🕊️, and we want to be FOUND READY ⚠️.

Waiting for Jesus’ return is a profound spiritual journey that calls each of us to active faith rather than passive expectation. In my personal experience, embracing this season of patience has been transformative. I used to wonder why the Lord seems delayed, but reflecting on scriptures like 2 Peter 3:9, which tells us God is patient, not wishing anyone to perish, opened my eyes to a deeper purpose. This patience isn’t idle; it’s an opportunity for all believers to engage in what the article calls our “Kingdom Assignment.” Every day offers a chance to be a beacon of light in a world often overshadowed by darkness and despair. Through prayer, serving others, speaking truth, and showing honest love, we reflect God’s heart for the lost and align ourselves with His divine timing. Personally, I’ve found that when I commit to praying regularly and acting with compassion, I’m more attuned to moments when I can encourage or guide someone towards faith. This active engagement keeps me ready for His coming and helps me avoid distractions that can divert my focus from spiritual priorities. The reminder that we’re to be “found ready” struck a chord that motivates me daily. Additionally, sharing faith in relatable ways and living authentically as a follower of Christ in everyday interactions reinforces the message that God’s patience is an invitation to repentance and renewal. Being light in the night means standing firm in truth and not blending into worldly patterns but shining with purpose. The question posed—'What are you doing while awaiting the return of Jesus?'—is more than rhetorical. It’s a heartfelt challenge that encourages self-reflection and recommitment to faith in action. As we live out this calling, we join a community of believers working together to spread God’s love and truth until He returns.
